The Office, so we're not sure we can cope if
Alec Baldwin says goodbye to
30 Rock, too. But that seems to be the actor's plan for when his contract expires in 2012.
Baldwin, who plays executive Jack Donaghy in the series, told
CNN: "As much as I like acting, I know that I would love to have a different life, a private life. I think doing this now for a living has become really hard. It's really hard.
"I would rather go do other things and have whatever amount of time I have left in my life [to] have more of a normal life ... I want to find out if it's possible. How close can I get."
Baldwin has already won two Emmy Awards for his performance on
30 Rock, and this morning it was announced that he was nominated yet again. Here's to hoping the latest nod might change his mind.
