The 'Newsroom' Season 2 Posters Are Just as Over-the-Top as You Would Expect Them to Be

The second season of The Newsroom is coming, and it's bringing all the self-important melodrama you loved (or hated) about Season 1.

HBO has released nine new posters for the drama's upcoming season, which premieres on July 14. The black and white images feature the ACN News Night team brooding about their own importance posing next to quotes from the series as white sheets of paper float around them.

The upcoming season will portray the time period between Aug. 23, 2011 (the day Muammar Gaddafi’s Tripoli compound was captured by rebel forces) and Election Day 2012, and will include “the Tea Party/American Taliban, the general election including the primaries and conventions, Trayvon Martin, the Affordable Care Act, and drones," according to series creator Aaron Sorkin.

Check out The Newsroom posters below, then hit the comments with your thoughts. Are you looking forward to seeing Will McAvoy and the rest of the ACN team again?
