Season 6 will begin airing mid-2015, and Season 7 will follow in 2016, so fans can expect at least two more years of incomprehensible A shenanigans, Aria's over-the-top outfits, Spencer's intensity, Emily's questionable romantic decisions, and Hanna being Hanna.PLL
has proven to be a phenomenon with its fans and is regularly among the most tweeted shows on television, generating a whopping 675,000 tweets per episode. “Pretty Little Liars
has taken its place in the zeitgeist and reigns supreme in pop culture,” said ABC Family president Tom Ascheim in a statement. “I am glad to bring another two seasons to our audience, because ‘A’ has a lot in store for our Liars.”

renewal news? Season 7 may be the show's final season. Creator I. Marlene King hasn't revealed a specific end date for the series, but you have to imagine that the show's in-demand young stars will be ready to move on after seven seasons.
“We know the ending of the show, and it’s not in Season 5,” King told TVLine
back in March. “I think, as soon as they tell us [the end date], we will write to that. We know the ending and we’re prepared to get there, but we need a 12-episode notice to get there.”
