Singer Robbie Williams has split from his girlfriend of 14 months, Ayda Field. Rumor has it that the 34-year-old is fed up with Field's partying ways, and has chosen his career over her.
Apparently that choice is paying off for him. Friends of Williams told the Sun that the album he's currently working on is his best yet. If you remember, Williams was a successful singer, but killed his career with a rap album in 2006. He's returned to his original sound, and apparently it's working for him.
"Robbie is dead serious about his music," an unknown source said. "It's his number one focus. He's in the recording studio 24/7 working on his best tracks yet."
The 29-year-old actress was apparently a little too into partying, and Williams just wanted to sing.
Still, the source told the U.K.'s Mirror that "Robbie is absolutely gutted the relationship has ended. They are still very good friends though and she was the only girlfriend his close-knit circle in LA actually accepted and genuinely liked."
Believe it or not, Williams has apparently even sworn off women for the time being, out of respect for Fields. Sure he has.
