Beau Biden Stroke

U.S. Democratic Vice-Presidential nominee Sen. (Getty Images)more pics »Beau Biden, Vice President Joe Biden's son, apparently suffered a mild stroke this morning, according to CNN. The 41-year-old was hospitalized today after feeling ill and having a headache, and he is currently fully alert and stable.

A statement released by the hospital in Newark, Delaware read: "He is in good spirits and talking with his family at the hospital. He is fully alert, in stable condition and has full motor and speech skills. We expect him to make a complete recovery."

The VP's office released their own statement about the Delaware attorney general, and said Joe and Beau's wife were by his side. Beau has been attorney general since 2006, and in January announced that he would not to run for his dad's Senate seat in November.
