The power of Beyonce strikes again.
Ebony Banks, a senior at Alief Hastings High School in Houston, Texas (Bey's hometown), has been battling a rare stage four cancer. She's spent most of her senior year at the MD Anderson Cancer Center. Because of this, her school organized a special graduation ceremony at the hospital about a month ago.
As a graduation present, Banks’ amazing friends and classmates launched a social media campaign and the hashtag #EBOBMEETSBEYONCE (Ebob is Ebony's nickname) in an attempt to connect Banks with her longtime idol, Beyonce.
Let's just say the campaign worked, and Beyonce surprised Banks with a FaceTime phone call.
