This Rare Footage of 'The Lion King' Cast Singing 'Be Prepared' Will Take You Back to 1994

Get ready to feel old.

The Tk "Be Prepared&squot;

To help up your excitement about the upcoming live-action remake of The Lion King, Entertainment Weekly is giving us a fresh and rare peek inside the making of the original 1994 Disney animated film. In the clip, the cast including Jeremy Irons (Scar), Whoopie Goldberg (Shenzi), Cheech Marin (Banzai), and Jim Cummings (Ed), belt out the villainous track “Be Prepared”— which is the second best Disney song after The Little Mermaid’s “Poor Unfortunate Souls,” in my opinion.

The video also features the legendary James Earl Jones doing voiceover work for Mufasa (RIP). Lucky for us, the actor will reprise the role in Jon Favreau’s anticipated remake. Donald Glover (a.k.a. the multitalented Childish Gambino) is all set to play Adult Simba. No word yet on whether Beyonce is really going to voice Nala, or how Favreau plans on turning the human actors into the wild animals of Pride Rock. Because, seriously, there is not one single human in it.

Check out the awesome clip below.
