The Final Season Of 'Game Of Thrones': Episode 5 Trivia

The Last War came, the Last War went — and it was brutal.

'Game Of Thrones' Season 8, Episode 5 Trivia

Dragons! Dragon fire! Destruction! The Last War! There were so many shocking — and
so many WTF — moments from "The Bells," the fiery and chaotic penultimate episode of the final season of Game of Thrones. In the end, King's Landing went up in flames, and the game is now changed forever.

*Warning, major spoilers ahead!*

In "The Bells," Daenerys Targaryen made her final stand against Cersei Lannister and her loyal Iron Fleet and Golden Company. It wasn't pretty. After ignoring the sounds of the city's bells (which was supposed to signify the city's surrender), she goes on a murderous rampage while in full-on dragon mode. Her path of destruction turned the city ablaze and left many innocent men, women, and children — and main characters — dead. (RIP Lord Varys, Euron, Jaime, Cersei, Qyburn)

But if there is an upside to all this, Episode 5 finally gifted fans the glorious and long-promised Cleganebowl. The battle between The Hound and The Mountain did not disappointed, and in the end we lost our heroes to the same flames that engulfed the Red Keep. So where does Game of Thrones go from here? With only one episode left — all will be revealed soon.
