Bring on the perfect 10...and the box of tissues.
For last night's Most Memorable Year-themed Dancing with the Stars episode, Bindi Irwin chose to honor her late father, Steve Irwin, with a contemporary piece set to "Every Breath You Take."
Bindi was only eight years old when Steve died in the stingray accident that made international headlines.
"You know, it's been nine years, and I never really dwelled on that point — when he did pass away. I think that I'm kind of ready to tell that story," she explained, through tears, in her opening package. "It took a really long time to understand what actually happened. For the rest of my life, I'll kind of feel like he's going to come home."
After her flawless performance with partner Derek Hough, Bindi broke down and took a moment to reflect on the emotional moment.
"This dance is for my dad, and for my family, and for everyone back at home, but for my dad," she said. "This is for him."
Check out the clip of Bindi's moving tribute below, which received a well-deserved standing ovation and the season's first 10 by judge Bruno Tanioli.
