The New 'Suicide Squad' Trailer Is Totally Wild

This crew is full of the "worst heroes ever."

The New 'Suicide Squad' Trailer Is Totally Wild

On Tuesday, January 19th, a brand new trailer for Suicide Squad was released as part of the DC Films Presents: Dawn of the Justice League special on The CW. Although Suicide Squad won't be released until August 5th, the hype surrounding the DC Universe movie is getting bigger and bigger. The latest trailer shows the villainous and diabolical crew indulge in some seriously risky behavior. David Ayer (End of Watch, Fury) directed the highly-anticipated film which follows a group of super villains who are released from prison and asked to complete a much nobler mission than they are used to.

The latest trailer for Suicide Squad is perfectly set to Queen's “Bohemian Rhapsody.” Will Smith's Deadshot receives much more attention this time around than he did in the first trailer, and Margot Robbie's maniacal turn as Harley Quinn still looks as compelling as ever. “I should kill everyone and escape?” she asks herself while being encompassed by a slew of military personnel. “Sorry, the voices — I'm kidding! That's not what they really said,” she continues.

The cast of Suicide Squad also features Jared Leto as the Joker, Jai Courtney as Captain Boomerang, Joel Kinnaman as Rick Flag, Cara Delevingne as Enchantress, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje as Killer Croc, Jay Hernandez as Diablo, and Viola Davis as Amanda Waller.
