Carly Aquilino is best known for her hilarious brand of comedy on MTV's Girl Code. She's also known for basically being the most relatable person ever. This fall, when the stand-up comedian starts hosting MTV's new late night show Girl Code Live (it premieres August 31st at 10:30/9:30c), fans will get more of Aquilino's amusing insights about being a woman. The New York native took time away from cracking jokes and dishing out solid female life advice (she recently helped launch an educational initiative about women's issues) to answer our 26 burning questions.

Important words of wisdom you'd like to impart to all of your fans:
Refer to #1. Don’t take yourself too seriously, have fun and be educated. Being educated is especially important when it comes to contraception. Even if you try to or think you are doing everything right, it is important to be informed about your options in the event you need a backup plan. Which is why I’m partnering with Plan B One-Step® on their “Perfectly Imperfect” initiative to arm women with information about emergency contraception. You can get your knowledge here.

I’d work at the zoo.

My mom.

I would ask Oprah, how do you manage to be so successful and keep your private life, private?
Revelations you've had about the people you work with on Girl Code:
You can’t hide your true colors and some people can bring out the best in you.
Song that never fails to pump you up:
"Uptown Funk" by Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars.
#TBT:
When I hosted the MTV NYE’s party with Charlamagne.

Since we will not ask for your favorite "X word," we will simply ask for your shameless plug here:
I’ve just joined the “Perfectly Imperfect” initiative in partnership with Plan B One-Step® and I’m really psyched about it! We are trying to spark a conversation about the many myths surrounding emergency contraception and let women know that nobody is perfect. I mean I make a fool of myself constantly but it’s okay because at the end of the day I make people laugh and being imperfect is what makes me, me! Check out the whole initiative at www.PerfectlyImperfectandMe.com.
Also Girl Code Live airs August 31st on MTV. Check it out!
