Mickey Mouse has undoubtedly seen his share of screaming children at Disneyland — even though it's the "Happiest Place on Earth" — but a famous grown-up apparently had a meltdown at the park earlier this month. That famous grown-up? Christina Aguilera.
According to TMZ, the diva spent her 34th birthday at the park in Anaheim, Calif. with her fiancé and friends (no kids, it seems) and threw a fit when Mr. Mouse couldn't take a picture with her because it was his break time. (There are serious Disneyland labor laws, you know.) She allegedly lost it at that point and called the beloved Disney dude an "a**shole." Then, she took a page from Reese Witherspoon's meltdown book and did the "do you know who I am?" thing. Yikes.
Mickey was reportedly ushered to a "safe zone" and park security was called — only Xtina and her group had already split by the time they got there.
Aguilera hasn't commented on her alleged behavior — she's a former Mouseketeer, after all — but she did post a group picture from their day at the park on Instagram. There was no mention of Mickey in her caption. "Fun birthday celebration at the happiest place on earth #disneyland." (Note there is alcohol in the picture, so this particular snapshot had to have been taken at the Disney California Adventure park which serves adult beverages.)
If you love Disneyland and would never yell at Mickey, test your knowledge of the park:
