New York Senator Chuck Schumer found himself the object of criticism after he let loose on a flight attendant during a recent airplane ride. Apparently he was jetting from NY to Washington via US Airways when the flight attendant asked him to turn off his cell phone before takeoff (totally standard) and he kept talking, so she came over to ask him again to turn it off.

"He argued with her about the rule,” a source told Politico.com. “She said she doesn’t make the rules, she just follows them.

When the flight attendant walked away, Schumer called her a "bitch." His spokesman said, "The senator made an off-the-cuff comment under his breath that he shouldn’t have made, and he regrets it."
