A 'Boy Meets World' Sequel Is in the Works! Here Are 5 Other TV Sequels We Totally Want to See

Cory and Topanga: Together again? (ABC)
Are you sitting down? You should be, because there's apparently a Boys Meets World sequel in the works.

TVLine has revealed that the Disney Channel is in the early stages of developing a Boy Meets World spinoff series called Girl Meets World that would center on Cory and Topanga's preteen daughter. The network is reportedly trying to convince original series stars Ben Savage and Danielle Fishel, whose characters were married in the series finale after seven seasons, to star in the new show.

Over the weekend, Fishel teased fans about the possibility of returning to the world of Boy Meets World, tweeting, "Just want you guys to know that @BenSavage and I have talked and we've decided...Thanksgiving is going to be delicious this year!"

The return of Boy Meets World is pretty much the most exciting thing to ever happen to '90s kids like us. And in our haze of gleeful nostalgia, we've come up with a few other classic TV shows we'd love to see get the sequel treatment. Check out our ideas below, then hit the comments with your own!

Amy's Creek
What is Jen's daughter Amy, who we last saw as a baby in the series finale of Dawson's Creek, up to these days? The final episode of the WB series was set in 2008, so Amy would technically be only four years old now, but through the magic of television we can age her up to be a teenager with her dearly departed mother's penchant for trouble. She's already got two dads (Jack and Doug), which is oh-so-hot on the small screen these days. And surely Pacey and Joey must have a few sassy smart alecks of their own for Amy to hang out with.

DJ's Full House
When DJ Hale's (née Tanner) husband Steve dies in a tragic cable car accident, she's left to raise their three adorable sons. But she's not alone! Younger sisters Stephanie, a gossip blogger with a penchant for always dating the wrong guys, and Michelle, a successful fashion designer, move back home to San Francisco to help DJ raise her three boys. Wacky shenanigans ensue!

Saved By the Bell: The Next Generation
Zack and Kelly's son Brody is starting his freshman year at Bayside High, where he's got his eye on Hillary Clinton Slater, the gorgeous, politically savvy daughter of A.C. and Jessie. But someone else also has his sights set on Hillary — Scotty "Scratch" Powers, Screech's son from a surprise one night stand with Tori (remember her?). Will reinstated principal Mr. Belding be able to give these crazy kids some advice on navigating high school? OF COURSE HE WILL.

Party of…However Many
When Charlie and Kristen, Bailey, Julia, and Claudia Salinger are all killed in a freak plane crash, recent college graduate Owen Salinger must raise all of their respective children. Will the former bad boy be able to pull himself together and provide a life for his new charges? And what will the reappearance of Sarah Reeves Merrin, fresh out of jail after being caught working in a massage clinic fronting as a brothel, mean for Owen's new life?

My So-Called Life as a CIA Agent
Oh wait, that show's already called Homeland.
