Derek Jeter and Michael Jordan are launching a new shoe for Nike, and it's got the classic Air Jordan look fans love while incorporating the "nine defining moments" of Jeter's baseball career. The shoe goes on sale in June with a sticker price of $100 and is available in either black or white according to Nike.com.
The Jordan Jeter Throwback in black. (From nike.com) The new commercial for the shoe gives a nice 360 view, but I'm still not sure what those "nine defining moments" are or how they're all recognized in the cross-trainer's design, but there is a number 2 dropped on the sides instead of Jordan's 23. According to Nike's ad, the shoe is "made for Derek's punishing workouts with its lock-down fit, lightweight cushioning and multi-surface traction."
Take a look at the ad and pictures and see if it's something you'll be waiting for in June.
