A woman named Lizette Torres is suing Spanish singer Enrique Iglesias
for emotional distress two years after Iglesias allegedly ran over her daughter's foot with his car.
Torres claims that Iglesias ran over the foot of her daughter, Susan Bonilla, while leaving a Los Angeles-area radio station. Iglesias was not driving. Torres seeks $25,000 in damages, citing her own emotional distress at witnessing the incident among her claims.
The catch? The alleged incident went down in 2007. Why would it take two years for someone to file a suit worth $25K in "damages"?
