Eric Bogosian
Eric Bogosian is an Armenian American actor, playwright, and novelist. According to Wikipedia: Bogosian has a very distinctive style. His one-man shows are a minimalist blend of dark comedy, geopolitical commentary, and social realism. When performing on stage, Bogosian generally appears as a series of characters, and uses only a microphone and a folding chair as props.
Bogosian has recently joined the cast of Law & Order: Criminal Intent as Captain Daniel Ross, replacing Jamey Sheridan's character, Captain James Deakins.
Some of his plays have recently been revived on and off-Broadway, with an updated version of his 1994 play SubUrbia at Second Stage Theatre and the Broadway premiere of his Pulitzer Prize-nominated 1987 drama Talk Radio, starring Liev Schreiber, scheduled to open in March 2007.
