If you've ever seen the iconic house used in the cult classic The Goonies IRL, you should count your lucky stars. The home is now closed off to visitors.
That's right: you are no longer welcome to traverse its glorious Oregonian yards, belting out hysterics at your besties and shaking your body in exchange for entry.
As a matter of fact, it's this body shaking trend (also known as the truffle shuffle) that caused the owner of the home to shut it down. Apparently, many strangers are entering her yard to...shuffle. Visitors have left one too many errant cigarette butts and beer bottles on her property, and the woman is fed up.
According to The Independent, even decades after the film was made, the home was attracting 1,500 people a day. If you ask us, the fact that the owner was ever cool with this is saintly in and of itself, but we digress.
We also won't give her too much credit, because this unceremonious proclamation not only means the end of an era, but also of many an incomplete bucket list. RIP.
