Singer-songwriter Frank Ocean has something in common with Tim Allen: They both used to sell a lot of cocaine.
Ocean copped to his drug dealer past in his cover interview with Oyster magazine,
confessing that he was not a bully when he was in school because he was too busy doing other things.
"I was a thug," Ocean admitted. "I sold a lot of cocaine and crack." He wasn't joking either: He responded to the interviewer's incredulity with "All the time."
Ocean isn't the first Grammy nominated artist to have pushed illegal substances before breaking it big. Jay Z and 50 Cent have said they started selling narcotics at the ages of 13 and 12, respectively.
