With Guillermo del Toro behind the camera, Crimson Peak was always going to look great. But now the upcoming horror movie's artistry has an official endorsement from a father-son duo who REALLY know the horror genre. Stephen King and his son Joe Hill (who wrote Horns), got a very early look at the movie over the weekend, and they both had high praise for Del Toro's work.

On Monday, King tweeted: "Was treated to a screening of Guillermo del Toro's new movie, CRIMSON PEAK, this weekend. Gorgeous and just fucking terrifying."

He added: "CRIMSON PEAK electrified me in the same way Sam Rami's EVIL DEAD electrified me when I saw it for the first time way back in the day.”

His son, Joe Hill, was equally impressed. He tweeted: "Remember that list I tweeted the other day, the 13 most beautiful horror films. CRIMSON PEAK is the most beautiful of all." And: "CRIMSON PEAK is Del Toro's blood-soaked AGE OF INNOCENCE, a gloriously sick waltz through Daphne Du Maurier territory."

With endorsements like that, we can't wait to see the finished movie. Of course, it helps that the cast is totally stacked, with Tom Hiddleston, Jessica Chastain, Charlie Hunnam, and Mia Wasikowska all in key roles. Here's the trailer, which is all we non-famous horror fans have to go on so far.
