Ridiculous Gift Guide Showdown: Blake Lively's Preserve vs. Gwyneth Paltrow's Goop

Getty ImagesBlake Lively almost broke the entire Internet and successfully broke her new website Preserve when it launched over the summer, since it coincided with the announcement that she and king of all hotties Ryan Reynolds made a baby. Since then, the site has provided us with plenty of lifestyle gems — how to make herbal steam, where to buy pure botanical sugar, etc. — and the gifts keep on giving.

And that brings us to actual gift-giving — Preserve's holiday gift guide launched on Black Friday (no sales here though!) and gave us plenty of ideas for those friends dying to have a $190 contraption that plays your iPhone through a horn. Yes, a real buffalo horn. There's enough ridiculous items on the list to quickly remind us she's not the only Hollywood blonde with a lifestyle site who loves over-the-top luxury goods. Gwyneth Paltrow blazed the trail for that sort of thing with her Goop site and has been full steam ahead with her holiday gift guide since at least 2010.
