A brand new baby makes 2016 a banner year for actor Eddie Redmayne!
On Sunday, E! News reported that The Danish Girl star Redmayne and his wife Hannah Bagshawe had brought their first child into the world. Baby girl Iris May Redmayne was born Wednesday, June 15.
After having dated since 2012, the two became engaged in June 2014 and were married in England in December 2014.
Bagshawe, a publicist, was reportedly representing Redmayne professionally when he asked her out. The couple has since seen great success as a single unit, Redmayne's role in The Theory of Everything winning him the Golden Globe for Best Actor, the Academy Award for Best Actor, a BAFTA award, and a Screen Actor's Guild award for the same title. He was also nominated for his portrayal of The Danish Girl's Lili Elbe, a transgender woman living in the 1920s.
Next on the 34-year-old's list is Harry Potter spin-off Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, out November 18.
No pics of the beautiful babe quite yet, but we're willing to bet she's gorgeous.
