. Fire crews and paramedics rushed on-scene and decided to take the actress to a local hospital, where she was admitted for reportedly mixing prescription drugs and alcohol.
"Patrol Units, Fire and Ambulances responded to an emergency medical call," Captain Mike Aranda, PIO of the Ventura County Sheriff's department, told E! News
"Once on scene, paramedics determined that she [Locklear] needed to be transported to a medical facility and, from my understanding, she was taken to Los Robles Hospital in Thousands Oaks. Once there, the medical staff of Los Robles was taking care of her medical situation."
The star's parents were at the hospital yesterday as well, and report that their daughter is in stable condition. They "wanted everybody to know that she's doing well, she's fine, she's not in any danger, she's healthy," a hospital spokesperson said on William and Diane's behalf.
This isn't the first time she's had a 911 emergency. Back in 2008 she was hospitalized after a possible overdose of prescription meds, and the 911 operator classified the situation as a "suicide attempt." Later it was determined to be a false alarm.
Locklear most recently made headlines after getting engaged to longtime beau Jack Wagner
, then calling off the wedding for the sake of their children. The couple said they still loved each other, but decided getting married wasn't the best idea for their respective families.
