Hope Solo (Getty Images) Hope Solo has starred once again, helping stave off over 22 shots against the French Women's National Soccer Team and putting the US Women's Team into the Finals of the Women's World Cup.
The young goalie -- who last year made headlines when she heavily critized head coach Greg Ryan for pulling her in a 4-0 loss to Brazil -- shined today in her Semi Final match against

France. The US Women's Team was outshot throughout the entirety of the game, but managed to score 3 goals on just 7 shots through the first 80 minutes of the game.
Does this dominant performance stamp Solo's place in the annals of US Women's sports history? Is she the best player the team has had since say, Mia Hamm? If she can guide her team to another win in the Finals, the argument will be hard to avoid.
