As National Signing Day gets underway, one big recruit has already cast his lot in with Les Miles and the boys in the bayou. J.R. 'Ego' Ferguson
will be playing for the LSU Tigers next season, one of the several top recruits to head to Louisianna. J.R. Ferguson will be wearing the purple and yellow next seaosn. (scout.com)
Ferguson, a top-50 recruit who is ranked the No. 6 defensive end by Rivals.com, will add some much needed oomph to LSU's defensive line, which is still reeling from the loss of Chad Jones to the NFL draft.
He'll join some other top players, including wide out Kadron Boone
, defensive lineman J.C. Copeland, and (probably, though not for sure) Jordan Allen and Justin Maclin. It's the type of recruiting class that should get Tiger fans very happy, and make everyone else in the SEC very, very nervous.
