Veteran actress Jane Fonda is a definite fashion icon - there's a reason why she made Zimbio's list of the 100 Most Influential People in Fashion. She not only had a hand in the aerobicization of America - she also made a sweet, counterculture-looking hairstyle famous, too.
Known to some as the "Klute" Shag (Fonda won an Academy Award for her work in Klute around that time), the heavily-fringed style Fonda wore in the early seventies became a major style statement after the actress' arrest.
