launched his debut eyewear collection in March but, as the designer told Vogue UK,
he has more brand-building to do: "Stay tuned for later this year—there is more to come," he hinted. "Now that I have an established ready-to-wear business it seems to be the natural step to expand the world of Jason Wu. There is so much more I would like to do to complete the vision."
The vision includes a leather goods line—perhaps inspired by his time in Florence, Italy, one of the leather capitals of the world. "The beautifully ornate architecture has been very inspiring," Wu told Vogue
. "I always find great inspiration while I travel."
For those who can't stomach the wait until Wu's leather hits store shelves, there is the designer's collection of "Cissy" dolls
for luxe toymaker Madame Alexander. The dolls, which range in price from $160 to $350, are outfitted in some fabulously fashion-forward pieces. But one should expect nothing less from Wu, who began his design career creating doll clothing for Integrity Toys—He even founded his ready-to-wear line with earnings from his toy career.See who's been wearing Jason Wu lately:More pictures of Jason Wu:
