April Fools came early for Jennifer Lopez thanks to her beau, Alex Rodriguez. On Friday, Nov. 23, Rodriguez sought the help of famous mentalist Lior Suchard to pull an epic prank on J. Lo during dinner.
The former New York Yankee took to Instagram to share his unbelievable joke. In the video, Suchard had Lopez shadow him as he walked around the dining table and tapped each guest on the back. Then, he asked everyone to look at him and listen to what he said. With a snap of his finger, everyone simultaneously banged their heads on the table. This, of course, elicited a dumbfounded reaction from Lopez, who gasped and covered her mouth in disbelief.
"What the f***?!" she exclaimed.
Moments later, the guests broke into fits of laughter and Lopez realized it was all a prank. She was a great sport and laughed along with everyone else.
"Psyche! Thanks to my good friend 'Master Mentalist' Lior Suchard for helping us have a little fun with JLo tonight. #GoodSport," Rodriguez captioned the video.
Suchard posted the same video on his account and wrote, "After an evening of mind reading and mind influencing, we all had to do something.....special."
Much to our entertainment, J. Lo refused to let her beau get away with the trick. On her Instagram, she shared a snippet of Suchard playing mind tricks on Rodriguez. The self-described "Master Mentalist" had Rodriguez read cards with simple words and phrases written on them like "darling" and "I love you." This easy task proved to be difficult for Rodriguez, as he could only spew gibberish after Suchard did his "magic."
"I'm sorry WHAT??!!! Lior Suchard is the most amazing mentalist!!" Lopez shared. "We had the most amazing time watching him do what he does the way only he can!! If you don’t know about him... you need to!!"
Suchard seems to have had a great night with the couple and their friends. He even posted a selfie with Rodriguez and Lopez, along with a sweet message.
"What an amazing evening of wonder, astonishment and fun in thanksgiving," he wrote. "Great to meet new friends <3."
Leave it to Rodriguez and Lopez to throw a fun (and unforgettable) Thanksgiving.
Can we get an invite for next year?
