Here's How 'Once Upon a Time' Failed Regina Yet Again

Will Regina ever catch a break?

There's no happy ending for a former Evil Queen.

On Sunday night's episode of Once Upon a Time, Hades (Greg Germann) continued to rage on about creating his own kingdom in Storybrooke with Zelena (Rebecca Mader) at his side. Yeah, sounds like a totally plausible idea, dude. After failing to convince Zelena that Hades is in fact a power-hungry lunatic, Regina (Lana Parrilla) resorted to a more dangerous plan: Breaking into the Town Hall through a secret tunnel with Robin's (Sean Maguire) help, of course! Sounds like a totally bullet-proof idea, right? What could possibly go wrong when you sneak up on Hades and ask him to voluntarily surrender?

I don't know what's going on with the writers this season, but things have become even more muddled and infuriating than usual on Once Upon a Time. Quiet frankly, what ensued during last night's episode was a total letdown. After Hades cornered Regina and Robin, it became pretty darn apparent that someone was going to die. So when Hades tried to kill Regina with the Olympian Crystal, Robin heroically jumped in front of the love of his life and ended up paying the ultimate price.

Yes, Robin is really dead and Regina had to watch someone else kill the man she loves. YET AGAIN! Is this the kind of true love that Regina deserves? Why does Hook (Colin O'Donoghue) get so many chances at redemption yet Robin, who left behind two little kids, can't manage to stay safe next to the most powerful, badass character on the show?

Regina learned to love her wicked sister and made amends with her borderline-psychotic mother and THIS is what she gets in the end? Are you kidding me? The woman went from being the Evil Queen to a full-fledged hero, yet she can't manage to keep her lover alive? How long must she repent for her sins?

Yeah, so Hook is back and it looks like the Captain Swan saga will continue to be a major snoozefest. The only good thing about this is that we'll no longer have to suffer through Emma's (Jennifer Morrison) wallowing. Oh, and good riddance to Hades as well. No one will miss your habit of over-enunciating every other word.

Are you pissed off about Robin's death? Do you think Regina will ever get her happy ending? Tell us what you think in the comments.
