Slughorn is done with the wizarding world of Harry Potter. Next on his list? Game of Thrones' Westeros.

On Wednesday, TV Line reported that actor Jim Broadbent would be joining season 7 of the hit HBO show. Much like Ian McShane's role in season 6 (he later turned out to be Brother Ray the "Broken Man") Broadbent is tackling a top-secret role.

67-year-old Broadbent is a refined Brit, an Oscar-winner, and is known for his very proper, charming countenance. Given that there is absolutely nothing proper about Game of Thrones, we're at a loss as to what character he might be portraying, but the position's secretive nature would suggest it is a very important role indeed.

Broadbent played Hogwarts' resident potions expert in the Harry Potter films, and the head of Slytherin house for many years. While his character wasn't a major role, it's very possible his upcoming role in GoT could be huge.

After all, we are missing a few Targaryens at the moment.
