Let's be honest: few fans are oblivious to Taylor Swift's reputation for tenuous relationships. The press has massacred her escapades, tinging them with bitterness to the point that that's all we remember them for. The reality, though, is that women date, and sometimes it doesn't work out.

People are people, and sometimes it doesn't work out, okay? Breathe.

So instead, let's take a journey through the T. Swift paramour timeline, culminating in the one man who might actually deserve her.

And now, finally, fellow musician and EDM star Calvin Harris.

Ding ding ding, we may just have a winner.

Harris is the first man Taylor's been with who not only acknowledged their relationship but displays, without question, how incredibly happy he was with her.

He holds her hand in public. They're silly together. And, as of this week, he's brimming with pride.

Taylor's Tumblr-public challenge of Apple's plan to forgo paying artists during their new streaming service's royalty-free trial period has officially put more money in musicians' pockets.

In an interview on Sunday, Apple's senior vice president of Internet software Eddy Cue said that Taylor's underdog-positive note "really solidified that we need to make a change." And if the above tweet is any indication, Harris couldn't be more proud of his conscientious lady.

So, there you have it. Sometimes you really do need to kiss a couple moody guitarists and boy banders before you come across your Scottish prince. Am I right?
