(Getty | Sunbow Productions)Just a month after news of the movie first hit the Internet, we've got full casting news for the truly outrageous band at the center of the Jem adaptation along with a poster that gives an idea of where director Jon M. Chu (G.I. Joe: Retaliation) is going with his movie's look and feel. The Hollywood Reporter first broke the casting news Thursday, and later in the day Chu tweeted a picture of the poster. The first picture of the cast together on set was also posted on the movie's official tumblr.

So here's the cast.

The movie is still two years away, but filming has already begun. So maybe they'll move up the release date a little? Who knows. Based on the director (Chu also directed Justin Bieber: Never Say Never and two Step Up movies), and the cast, we know they'll be targeting a young audience, which is different from some of the other '80s nostalgia properties like Transformers, which was targeted at grown-ups who watched the show when they were kids. We're very curious to see where they're going with all this.
