Winter is dark and full of far too few teasers for Game of Thrones. While we wait for April 12 to come around, HBO is slowly but surely recognizing our Westeros drought. On Sunday, they aired a fascinating behind-the-scenes special, Game of Thrones Season 5: A Day in the Life. The 30-minute documentary follows the show's two units during a single day of shooting in three different countries.
In between learning cool tidbits about what it's like to film the world's favorite fantasy show (e.g. extras sometimes get turned away for not looking dirty and disheveled enough), we caught amazing previews of the season's most-anticipated fight scenes. Take a look at our favorite moments!

Jon Snows gets deadly in Hardhome.
Hardhome is a devastated free folk village North of the Wall, and the setting of "one of the most complex and ambitious" fight scenes of the season.

A Sand Snake slashes her way to victory.
We honestly can't wait to see Keisha Castle-Hughes and the rest of the Sand Snakes make their debut.

Jorah takes a bad hit in Daznak's Pit.
Vanity Fair speculates shots like these might point at Jorah's upcoming death, but we're not so sure. Game of Thrones seems far too clever to release such a blatant hint if that were true...UNLESS that's exactly what they want us to think. Hmm.
