(Getty) First there was "Lazy Sunday," then there were all those other smartly titled music parodies like "Dick in a Box," "Jizz in My Pants," and "I'm on a Boat." If you missed the boys from the comedic troupe The Loney Island (
Andy Samberg,
Jorma Taccone, and
Akiva Schaffer), then miss no longer because the former
SNL stars are returning with their third full-length album
The Wack Album, which is set to drop on June 11.
So what can we expect from the follow-up to
Incredibad and
Turtleneck and Chain? More insights onto how to be a boss, celebrate a
very good sexual encounter, and be a super solid "
Motherlover," no doubt.
Along with the recent news of an album on the way, The Loney Island gang also announced that they'll be hosting their first live performance ever on July 15 at the Aragon Ballroom in Chicago. If cameos by featuring acts like
Adam Levine,
Justin Timberlake, and
Michael Bolton are in the mix, we're so there. If not, we're there anyways.
