
Julia Louis-Dreyfus
Julia Louis-Dreyfus (born January 13, 1961) is an American actress, comedienne, and producer. She was a regular cast member on 'Saturday Night Live' from 1982-1985, but is best known for her portrayal of Elaine Benes on 'Seinfeld' from 1990-1998. Her performance earned her a Golden Globe Award, five SAG Awards, and five American Comedy Awards, as well as the Primetime Emmy Award in 1996 for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series. She subsequently starred as the title character in the CBS sitcom 'The New Adventures of Old Christine' and as the Vice President of the United States, Selina Meyer on 'Veep'.
