Now the country cutie is coming to 90210; Pickler guest stars as Sally, an acquaintance of Austin's who butts heads with Naomi. Kellie will also show off her famous pipes on the episode.

• CBS has released the first picture of Katie Holmes as How I Met Your Mother's Slutty Pumpkin, a mysterious character that Ted has been chasing after for six seasons (he even dresses up in the same costume every year -- a hanging chad -- in the hopes of meeting the Slutty Pumpkin again). Katie's episode will air on October 31 at 8pm on CBS.
• First Snoop Dogg and now Fred Durst. CBS has announced that the Limp Bizkit frontman will star in a comedy project for the network (via Deadline). The as yet untitled comedy is currently being referred to as Douchebag, which sounds…about right. This isn't Durst's first acting gig — he previously had bit parts in House, Zoolander, Be Cool, and Pauly Shore Is Dead.
• Community was really good last night. Incredibly, magnificently good. Certainly one of the best episodes in the show's history so far. The episode offered seven different timelines depending on who went downstairs to get the pizza, and each timeline offered moments of inspired hilarity and subtle shifts in the relationships between different members of the study group (including a kiss between Jeff and Annie and a hint of potential romance between Troy and Britta). • X Factor brought the contestants to the judges "houses" (no way any of the judges actually live in those houses) to sing for their lives while sitting on patios next to pools. The judges decided that they couldn't possibly make these life and death decisions alone, so they brought in Rihanna, Pharrell, and Enrique Iglesias (alas, Mariah Carey's plane was grounded by Hurricane Irene so we didn't get to see that whack attack) to help them. Some of the wannabe warblers were good (Drew Ryniewicz), some were bad (oh jeez, Nick Voss), and some were just plain insane (Dexter Haygood, we're looking at you). You can watch all of last night's performances on the X Factor USA YouTube page.
