The biggest mystery on Season 2 of ABC's How to Get Away with Murder is without a doubt who shot Annalise Keating (Viola Davis). Since Kendrick Sampson first entered Shondaland, his mysterious character (Caleb Hapstall) has often times appeared a viable suspect — it doesn't help that Caleb is suspected of killing his billionaire parents. During tonight's midseason finale (the second half of the season premieres in February), it looks like we'll finally have our shocking answer. In anticipation of the episode that'll surely deliver plenty of twists and turns, the actor answered our 26 questions.

I haven't had anything too embarrassing, really. On the first day, first scene I shot, Viola bursts in the room and I'm supposed to stand up and say, "You need to leave." Instead I had a strange Texas moment. When she bursts through the door, I confidently said, "Ya'll need to leave!" and was immediately confused. Her face twitched a little bit and she continued. Obviously she's the only person who needed to leave.
Favorite Shondaland TV character:
Annalise Keating.

When I was a toddler, I enjoyed wrapping myself around my mom's legs while she was cooking so that she had to wobble around the kitchen.

Vampire on The Vampire Diaries or Caleb on HTGAWM — Who is harder to play and why?
They both have their difficulties; Vampire Diaries is fantasy so I had to use my imagination a lot more. Caleb is a strong character with a complex mystery.

Being a ghost on The Vampire Diaries, standing in the room while Bonnie and Jeremy do their heavy petting.
