LeBron James (born December 30, 1984) is an American basketball player nicknamed "King James. In 2003, LeBron James made history by becoming the first high school athlete to be chosen first overall in the NBA draft by the Cleveland Cavaliers. In the subsequent years, the Cavaliers built a team around the formidable young player to become one of the more dominant teams in the league.
