Well, alright then.
In a new interview with The Edit, Nicole Kidman dished about working on HBO's forthcoming crime drama series Big Little Lies and revealed some juicy details about her personal life in the process. Zoe Kravitz also stars on the TV adaptation of Liane Moriarty's smash-hit novel of the same name, and she also happens to be the only child of Kidman's former flame and all-around cool guy, Lenny Kravitz.
“Well, I knew Zoe because I was engaged to her father,” Kidman explained in the interview. “It's all in the family! I love Lenny; he's a great guy.”
Damn, way to drop a bombshell, girl!
Kidman and Kravitz briefly dated in the early 2000s, but their romantic life was kept tightly under wraps. Although the couple was rumored to be engaged, the news was never confirmed . . . until now!
In a 2007 interview with Vanity Fair, Kidman detailed why things didn't work out with Kravitz. “It just wasn't right. I wasn't ready. We weren't ready,” she said.
Well, things worked out in other ways. The Oscar-winning actress married Keith Urban in 2006 and the couple share two daughters. In fact, they are also on friendly terms with Kravitz and don't shy away from wishing greeting each other at events.
Now, that's definitely the most mature way to deal with a breakup!
Damn, they Kravitz and Urban can even hug it out! Looks like these three could write a book on gracious breakups!
