Lil Kim (born Kimberly Denise Jones - July 11, 1975) is an American Grammy Award winning female rapper who rose to fame in the mid 1990s. Lil' Kim is known for her deep bass singing voice, hardcore, raunchy style of rapping and her controversial sexual image and lyrics. She is said to have paved the way for many following female artists such as Trina & Eve, Foxy Brown, and Remy Ma.
