The first female Doctor has found her new comrades!

On Sunday, BBC announced that Doctor Who’s 13th incarnation — who will be portrayed by Jodie Whittaker — is getting a fresh trio of major, new characters! Isn’t that a relief, people?

Bradley Walsh will play Graham, the new male companion to The Doctor. Tosin Cole will step in as Ryan, while Mandip Gill will star as Yasmin. Although details surrounding their characters are scarce, BBC also confirmed that Sharon D. Clark will board the series in a recurring role.

As previously reported, Doctor Who is reportedly being revamped in a big way! The forthcoming season will return for a shorter 10-episode run in Fall 2018 instead of the usual 12-13 episodes. Each one will be 50 minutes a piece. The season premiere, however, will be a full hour. (Thank the heavens!)
