Mariah Carey's Album Titles Ranked From Least to Most Ridiculous

(Def Jam)This week, Mariah Carey finally revealed the title of her long-awaited upcoming album, aka the one formerly known as The Art of Letting Go. Behold, y'all: The official announcement for Me. I Am Mariah... The Elusive Chanteuse.

For those who don't have the time to watch the video (and they really should, if for no other reason than to check out the bizarre backing vocals), the first half of the title comes from Carey's "first and only" self-portrait, which she produced at the ripe age of 3 and a half. The second part, she claims, is what "they've been calling [her] lately."

Carey's new album title isn't that ridiculous in light of the many ridiculous album titles she's gifted us over her decades-long career — which we've ranked in order of ridiculousness, because of course. It's worth noting that, with a couple of exceptions, this list is basically in chronological order, meaning that Mariah Carey has gotten progressively sillier since her 1990 self-titled debut. But you knew that already.
