After weeks and weeks and weeks of rumors about which other stars would share American Idol judging duties with Mariah Carey, it's finally confirmed: Keith Urban and Nicki Minaj, and Randy Jackson's officially coming back.

The big news was announced Sunday in a statement by executive producer Simon Fuller. "With the exciting addition of Mariah Carey, Keith Urban and Nicki Minaj, alongside Randy Jackson, American Idol's star power has never been so great," he said in a statement. "For this we have to thank the ongoing commitment and belief of FOX and the dedication and focus of the Idol production team. We have all been together since the very beginning and we are focused on making IdolSeason 12 the best ever."

An exec at Fox echoed that 12th Annual BMI Urban Awards - Arrivalssentiment. Mike Darnell said: "Nicki's an unbelievably captivating
international phenomenon who has made an indelible mark on rap and pop. And Keith is another great addition to Idol —he's one of the biggest stars in country music and I know that our fans and contestants will fall in love with him. With an unparalleled star like Mariah, fan-favorite Randy, chart-toppers like Nicki and Keith and our incomparable host Ryan [Seacrest], we've put together one of the most exciting judging panels around."

The show's longtime host Ryan Seacrest also released the big news on Twitter. He posted a picture of the entire judging panel with the caption: "It's official, your new #IdolJudges are @MariahCarey, @NickiMinaj, @KeithUrban & @Yo_RandyJackson!"

Now that this is the definite Idol team, we have to wonder what happened to all of those rumors about allegedly locking down Enrique Iglesias. And the ones about Kanye West. And Adam Lambert and Nick Jonas.

Though the world may never know what happened behind Fox's closed doors on those fronts, here's some fun facts about the four folks who will be on the tube each week.

1. Their combined age is 171. Minaj is the youngest judge by far at 29. Jackson is the oldest at 56.

2. They bring 10 Grammy wins to the table. Carey has five, Urban has four, and Jackson has won one as a producer. Though Minaj has six BET Awards, she has yet to win a Grammy.

3. They have a total of 7 kids. You might not know this, but Jackson is a father of three. Carey has twins, and Urban has two little girls. Again, Minaj is the odd one out in this category.

4. Minaj is the only single judge. Jackson has been married since 1995, Carey and Nick Cannon tied the knot in 2008, and Urban and Nicole Kidman got hitched in 2006. Minaj is rumored to be seeing a guy named Safaree Samuels, but she's never admitted it.

5. Two of them were born outside the U.S. Minaj was born in Trinidad and Tobago and Urban is from Australia. Carey was born in New York and Jackson was born in Louisiana.
