Brian Austin Green in a low-key ceremony in Hawaii last week -- so low-key, in fact, that her dad Franklin didn't know about the nuptials until she called him afterward.
Franklin said: "Megan gave me a call after the ceremony, and then sent a photograph of her and Brian with her iPhone. My daughter looked very happy in the photograph that she sent me in what was a very private ceremony.
"I'm delighted for her and I've met Brian before and I think that he is a good guy and I hope they will be happy."
Megan, who had been dating Brian since 2004, grew up with her mother and stepfather but still sees Franklin regularly.
He added to RadarOnline.com: "We are in regular contact and I usually go and see her when she visits her sister in Florida. I'm really thrilled for them both."
Megan, 24, and 36-year-old Brian wed in secret last Thursday, with only half a dozen guests as witnesses.
The nuptials took place at the Four Seasons Resort on the Big Island, and Brian's eight-year-old son Kassius (with
Vanessa Marcil) gave his dad away.
