Here at Zimbio, we're pretty big fans of the romance between Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, and we can't wait for their royal baby to be born. During his speech at the Invictus Games opening ceremony, the Duke of Sussex revealed he's also got baby on the brain. Harry and Meghan Markle are currently down under for a 16-day royal tour of Australia and the South Pacific. They made a five-day stop at the Invictus Games, where Harry gave a rousing speech. He kicked it off by thanking the crowd for the warm welcome and for reveling in the news of his wife's pregnancy.
"First of all, thank you for the welcome you have given Meghan and I over the last few days," he said onstage. "I have been so proud to be able to introduce my wife to you and we have been so happy to be able to celebrate the personal joy of our newest addition with you all."
Now that's a proud daddy-to-be right there!
Hours before he went on stage to deliver his big speech, Harry rehearsed at an empty Sydney Opera House. Well, almost empty. There was one person sitting among a sea of unoccupied chairs, and it was none other than Markle. The Duchess of Sussex sat front and center and watched her husband practice. In other words, they truly are #couplegoals.
Are they the cutest or what?
The Invictus Games is a special occasion for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. If you'll recall, it's where they made their first public appearance together as a couple, in Toronto 2017. The two were spotted holding hands while they watched one of the events.
Fast forward to 2018 and they're attending the games again, but now as husband and wife... with a baby on the way! It's all come full circle!
