Following a recent round of chemotherapy and radiotherapy treatments for throat cancer, Michael Douglas
is "doing as well as can be expected," says his long-time friend and publicist Allen Burry.
Burry told People
magazine: "“Michael is totally focused on his recovery. It’s been very difficult but his doctors are very pleased with how he responded to treatment. They think he’s doing really well. He’s doing as well as can be expected.
“Michael hasn’t changed his will recently, and he isn’t contemplating changing it.”

star has two children with wife Catherine Zeta Jones
: Dylan, 10, and Carys, seven, as well as 31-year-old Cameron
from his previous marriage. Burry has dismissed claims that Michael has begun preparing for the worst possible outcome.
However the Oscar-winning actor will be allowing his career to take a back seat in the future.
A friend of the 66-year-old star recently revealed: “This is a man in the middle of a gigantic fight, and he wants to conserve his energy and resources. If he beats this, he intends to focus on spending time with his family. He looks like he has aged 10 years in weeks.”Michael Douglas Pictures
