The 2017 iHeartMusicAwards was a full-fledged family affair as far as Miley Cyrus was concerned.
On Sunday evening, Miley joined hundreds of fellow artists at The Forum in Inglewood, California, but this time, she traded the spotlight for a seat. The 24-year-old was in attendance solely to support sister Noah Cyrus, seven years Miley's junior.
"I am really excited. This next performer is, without a doubt, the coolest person I know," Miley said as she introduced her sister to the audience.
"Her voice is amazing, her songwriting is beautiful and relatable. She knows who she is as an artist and I can't wait for the whole world to get a load of her vision. She's who I want to be when I grow up, and that's saying a lot, 'cause she's younger than me. Get ready, because 2017 is about to be Noah's year."
The 17-year-old, who emerged in 2016, sang smash hit "Make Me (Cry)" with Labrinth. The song is the first single on Noah's upcoming album NC-17.
Decked out in a fun red jumpsuit with hearts hidden throughout, Noah shined on stage with her family cheering along.
Saturday, the night before the ceremony, Cyrus matriarch Tish posted a video to Instagram of Miley and Noah "preparing" for the impending show.
"Family fist fight ! This is how we warm up before @iheartradio tomorrow!" Tish wrote. "Ha @mileycyrus @noahcyrus @billyraycyrus #sisters #family #Malibu #fun #lovemygirls"
Say what you will about the Cyrus fam, but they are nothing if not supportive.
