It took years of intensive training for Misty Copeland to break down barriers and become the first African American woman principal dancer for the American Ballet Theatre.
But after being tasked to teach Jimmy Kimmel and Guillermo for an upcoming performance, we're going to assume that this was her biggest obstacle yet.
Jimmy and Guillermo, who are taping out of Brooklyn this week, went into Copeland's ballet class with the confidence of a seasoned ballerino dancer. Unfortunately for them, they didn't have the skills to back up their cocky attitudes.
After a run through of basic moves like the plie and releve, an exasperated Copeland declared that "ballet was born in Italy more than 600 years ago...and today it died." Brutal.
