In the sage words of Live! host Jimmy Kimmel, "Congratulations to me. I'm hosting the Oscars and I had sex."
Kimmel and his wife, producer Molly McNearney, are expecting their second child.
On Monday, the 49-year-old announced he'd be hosting this year's Oscars, also taking the opportunity to share he'd be bringing a new Kimmel into the world.
The new little one follows the couple's daughter Jane, 2, as well as McNearney's children from a previous marriage, Kevin and Katherine.
While Kimmel didn't have too many details on his impending arrival, he did say he intended to "let the child decide for itself" whether it would be a boy or a girl.
So progressive.
"We want it to be a surprise," he later added, "but I have been trying to think of names that would work for either a boy or a girl. So far, I've come up with two. Number one: Dyson, after the vacuum. Or 'Jelatin,' with a J," he said.
"No? That's exactly what my wife said."
