It's been 30 years since the release of John Hughes's cult classic The Breakfast Club (we know, we feel like we're getting old, too). In honor of the anniversary, Molly Ringwald took the stage at the 2015 Billboard Music Awards to look back on her experience with the iconic '80s film: “Thirty years ago I was part of the club that made history,” the 47-year-old actress said before jokingly adding, “But now can I be a part of Taylor Swift’s?”
The actress than introduced a very special performance by Simple Minds who rocked the crowd with their chart-topping hit, "Don't You (Forget About Me)." Check it out below and let the memories flow:
Side note: It looks like Ringwald became part of T-Swift's club after all...
The Breakfast Club-approved!
